Out of the Dark

This indoor sculpture group was commissioned for the International group exhibition Gimme Shelter. It depicts a group of individuals that at some point has been negatively portrayed in the media, often in a large scale. The impact of this is enormous, it is hard to see beyond these stereotypes and the judgements we have come accustomed to because they become internalized sub-consciously. The work invites us to see beyond this and keep seeing them as human beings.
