An image that came out of one of my first hypnotherapy journeys. Like I phrased it in trance: “It’s like when you take all the beauty you have in you and hide it away out of sight.” A rather particular way to interpret a book of dried flowers, this made me realize that I have experienced my past as too unsafe to show my full self.
In “No more need to hide” we see the flat dried flowers peal away from the pages and become three dimensional and alive again. This journey towards more aliveness, became an integral part of my life, for myself and as a guide to others as Hypnotherapist
When one looks at these portraits carefully we can’t help but be sucked in. Our brains just need to work creatively to take it in, by which we slide out of our thinking mind automatically. A great antidote for the input overload we usually deal with.
This is why people fall in love with the work, buy it and enjoy it every day. Unlike TV it never gets boring.
The works are not as fragile as they look, transport, even shipment is well possible. If is hung on a good location, for instance above a low closet, it will be safe to enjoy for many, many years.
